Profile
Antiquities is the largest dealer in Indonesian antiques and
antiquities in the world, with six retail outlets and some
10,000 art objects, all from the great 17,000-island archipelago
of Indonesia. Antiquities does not deal in Chinese, Dutch,
Japanese or other art objects, preferring to specialise in
antique works of art from ethnic Indonesia.
The company does, however, deal in all facets of antique Indonesian
art including tribal art, costumes and textiles, classical
Javanese stone, bronze, and terracotta sculpture, gold and
silver, weapons, royal artefacts, Islamic art and paintings;
it also has considerable stock from all major Indonesian cultures:
Java and Bali, the Dayaks of Kalimantan, the Torajans and
other tribes of Sulawesi, the Bataks of North Sumatra, and
from other areas of Sumatra, including Nias, Minangkabau,
Palembang, Bengkulu, Lampung, also from the the Asmats of
Irian Jaya, Lombok and Madura, and many others.
The Antiquities collection includes extremely rare pieces,
the likes of which can not be found in major museums of the
world. This is also the only antique dealer in the whole of
Indonesia that offers guarantee cards on all purchases.

(Dharma Mulia Galleries) give a guarantee card signed
by a knowledgeable foreign consultant. For very important
pieces they will make a special letter with photos etc.
of course all objects sold as genuine that turn out not
to be genuine can be returned. |
